As school counselors, it is important that we help support our parent community to become strong resilient champions in their own households. Most parents want to raise healthy and resilient children who can navigate life’s situations with confidence, but often find themselves struggling with their own challenges which leads to possible tension, trauma, and separation within the household. How can we as educators help them maintain a positive relationship with their children while also taking care of themselves? Resilience plays a vital role in helping build stronger family systems and relationships. It directly impacts our children’s well-being. In this session, you’ll learn to help teach and train parents to view the world through the eyes of their own children, and connect with them on a deeper level, even in the face of challenging circumstances. As positive school counselor advocates, we can help them discover the power of resilience, and empower them to cultivate it within their own households for raising healthy, resilient children.

Registrants will be emailed the Zoom link the day before the webinar.
