BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTIONS

VTSCA seeks members who are interested in running for the open seat on the VTSCA Board of Directors. The current opening is for a three-year term.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to be on the ballot, the applicant must:

• Be a VTSCA member as of 10/24/2025
• Be an ASCA member as of 10/24/2025
• Be a practicing school counselor at a Vermont school as of 10/24/2025

TERM OF SERVICE

The position will take office immediately upon announcement of the election results on November 3 and the elected member will serve a three-year term.

The VTSCA Board has adopted a Policy Governance model and provides policy oversight for the three operational committees. Directors, in addition to policy oversight, sit on an operational committee.

The VTSCA Board meets virtually in October, November, January, March, and May. In August, the Board meets in person for one-two days.
